Bitten tells the tale of Elena Michaels, the only female werewolf. After being bitten by her fiance, Elena turns into a werewolf. But after years of Pack life, she wants to make it on her own in the human world. But all too soon she is called back to help the Pack with a threat to their territory. Someone is killing the locals and it is up to Elena and the rest of the Pack to find out who it is and deal with them before their secrets are exposed. Elena is very resistant to the werewolf life and she is equally resistant to Clay, her former fiance. But she can’t help but protect the life she once knew and soon she is embroiled in the hunt for a killer. This is not just an action packed adventure, but also a story about a woman trying to come to terms with her life. Elena is torn and wants to find happiness. Unfortunately, she doesn’t feel that can come by haning around with other werewolves. A gripping tale with a strong female lead.
