I am an avid reader and like all sorts of different books. I read everything, but definitely lean most towards: fantasy, romance, children’s lit, young adult books, and historical fiction. I long ago accepted what I like to read and make no excuses for it. I firmly believe that reading is one of life’s greatest treasures, and that there are more than enough types of books in the world for everyone. I used to be a bit of a book snob, but now I read what I like and recommend what I enjoy. I am keeping this Blog mostly as a means of reminding myself what I have read and so I can recommend books to my friends. I do not pretend to be a great writer…these are merely my thoughts on the books I read and so they will not always have a full summary or all the information you might wish. If you are reading this and like the books I have posted on the blog, you might also want to check out the books on my LibraryThing account at: http://www.librarything.com/profile/Books4Ever Happy reading!

Just read some of your posts. I am a 68 yo female who grew up in a depressed area of Easter Kentucy and had no access to a library until I was in the 10th grade! Even though I excelled in school and received a degree in ’72, I realized that my reading background is so very weak. About 5 years ago I began a campaign to read read read. It’s been fun and difficult. I am reading everything and while I won’t be able to ever catch up before death catches me, I am enjoying the journey I now write professionally, having only begun that in 2003.
Good luck!
I see that we have a lot of overlap in the books we’ve both read, and I’ve gathered a few additional things from your list to add to my own wish list. Thanks for the recommendations!
When is the third book going to come out?
